The beta-OH and para-OH preclude BBB permeation, and so there will be less "stim" feel as compared to ephedrine (sans para-OH). As a secondary amine, it has less potential for inducing synaptic release, although its half-life will be extended because of its alpha-methyl. There is no evidence that this compound is actually used in any supplement. Chinese COA's sometimes list "methylsynephrine" as a constituent of some extracts (usually of acacia), although they are refering to beta-methoxy-synephrine, not oxilofrine. S.P.
